Wednesday, April 5, 2006 - New Client Delivery System

To ensure quality control on photography session output, we have brought a brand new client delivery system online which will cover the output of all photography services that we offer. This includes ESPY Reduced Rate Model Test Sessions, Model Portfolio Photography, and Talent Head Shot Photography. An earlier version of this system was already in place for wedding and commercial photography.
Effective immediately, we will be working with two printing companies. Clients will have a range of different photograph printing options available. Prints will utilize a specialized format unveiled today which brands each photograph and ties in with our marketing program. This format is critical at this time since it has come to our attention that at least ten models will be taking our images to top model and talent agencies and businesses this month. All print files will come in a standard print resolution of 355 DPI/PPI in RGB mode @ 8 X 10 inch default sizes. Other print sizes and images files in professional CMYK mode/ file types are also available. Commercial clients will now be able to order files that can support poster, magazine, and billboard-size TIF image files in a CYMK format.
The ESPY and closely connected FIRST LOOK programs will have an advanced online client delivery system by next week. This will replace the old Photoshop-generated web galleries and links that we had been using, and clients will be to see adjusted proofs on the web. For those who have been complaining of sideways proofs, this is good news. You can now view images proofs that have been adjusted. Our photographers will pick the overall proofs and allow the clients to choose, and the option to obtain contact sheets of the full session output will be available. Due to the fact that we now have new equipment and client support technology, full session output consultations where we can go over all the proofs with our clients and answer questions will also be made available.
Effective immediately, we will discourage clients from printing their own pictures, although that option will remain available (there are seven pending bookings that will have expanded options available to them to ease the transition). Quality of the delivered images and photograph prints are very important to us, and we will make it as easy for the clients to get high quality prints of their photographs as possible.
This new client delivery system is neccessary to support a ten-fold increase in business in the second quarter of 2006. Aurora PhotoArts is projected to grow substantially in the Tampa Bay market in the next year. In the past, our clients were able to choose their own printing company and print their pictures from our sessions. Since we cannot control the quality of the picture prints in those situations, a change was needed. This will make our services much easier to use from now on.

We often refer our model, actor, and talent clients to advertising agencies for booked model jobs in the Tampa Bay markets as well as other major markets. Talent do not have to be our clients in order to be referred to the advertising agency bookings, as they only need to have professional career tools such as portfolios, composite cards, and head shots in order to be considered. Referred talent may use the professional tools that they have and are not required to book any services from us in order for us to refer them.
Aurora PhotoArts allows our clients to bring along a friend or a family member to any service that they book as long as it is not a professional conflict of interest.
Clients and models under the age of 21 are encouraged to involve their parents in the consultation, booking, and service process of any of our services that they wish to book. Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have the full participation of their parents or legal guardian. We do not knowingly solicit minors for any service that we offer.
We only refer models to top model and talent agencies who have professional clients and who are associated with ethical professionals. Aurora PhotoArts is not affiliated with any model and talent agency or agencies, and our photography and design services company is not represented by any agency. We are not responsible for the opinions and actions of any agencies who we may refer our clients to. Additionally, we recommend that models invest in portfolio pictures and composite cards before going to any agency, as this will avoid any potential professional or ethical conflicts of interest without compromising the integrity or quality of the portfolio pictures and modeling career tools that they need.
