NEWS - DEVELOPMENTS AND UPDATES Client
Testimonial Monday, October 17, 2005 - Hurricane Watch We've been looking at those numbers coming in to the studio concerning Tropical Storm Wilma, and it does not look good for the west coast of Florida this weekend. We're leveling a 50% chance that a major Hurricane by the name of Wilma will be either influencing or impacting the Tampa Bay region sometime this weekend. What does this mean for us? That we may be doing a three hour evacuation of the studio later this week and that Monday's ESPY session may have to be rescheduled. Whatever happens, please note that we're not gutting the studio and removing everything again like we did when Hurricane Charley threatened last year. We are still putting this place back together from that one, and the Hurricane never came close to us. This time, we're only taking pictures, files, computers, cameras, and critical equipment. Ironically, we'll be done getting the studio back up to speed from last year sometime this week. Eventi Events will delay reinstalling its sound equipment to next week as we all wait and see what's going to happen with this soon-to-be major Hurricane. We projected weeks ago that October would be the month to watch, and so far it's proven to be a valid prediction. NEXT NEWS - PREVIOUS NEWS - NEWS DIRECTORY ______________________________ |
