About
Dream Nine Studios
Dream
Nine Studios was founded in the summer of 1999 by entertainment and
business polymath C. A. Passinault.
A Passinault.Com production company and a part of the Passinault Entertainment
Group, the company began life as an indie film production company and
took a back seat to the efforts of the Passinault.Com service companies
as it took its time in finding itself.
In late 2000, Dream Nine Studios began work on its first production,
a feature-length psychological thriller titled Reverence. Reverence,
written by C. A. Passinault and Rachel Eaglin, underwent six drafts
and over five auditions. After two aborted contracts with production
teams, the project was canceled in early 2003.
The Passinault Entertainment Group and Passinault Industries LLC immediately
began investing in talent resources and in several talent resource web
sites. Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, and Independent Performer
increased in size, and they were soon joined by the TALON Talent and
Production Professional industry contact database and regional talent
resource Tampa Bay Modeling, Tampa Bay Film, Tampa Bay Acting, Tampa
Bay Photographers, and Advanced Model. Of all of these, Tampa Bay Film
was specifically set up to support the future productions and the post-production
marketing of Dream Nine Studios.
It was decided that further investments in resources were needed as
well as additional development time for the company. Executive Producer
C. A. Passinault realized that production technology had not yet advanced
enough to ensure that the myriad projects of the company would be cost-effective.
It was decided that more time would be spent in developing support infrastructure
and waiting for technology to catch up with certain ideas. These ideas,
of course, grew, and entirely new concepts were realized as the years
passed. Passinault and his teams spent their time working on the Passinault.Com
service companies Aurora PhotoArts Tampa Bay photography and design,
Eventi Events and Stage Tampa Bay, And Tampa Bay advertising agency
Eos MediaArts. The profits from these service companies would be needed
for the productions of Dream Nine Studios, which has been designated
as the future of the Passinault Entertainment Group, and will become
the primary player in the Florida entertainment industry.
By 2004, Passinault.Com photography services company Aurora PhotoArts
became the top photography services company in the Tampa Bay area and
a leader in the Florida markets. The photography and design services
company is now focusing on the commercial photography and design services
markets as of 2008, and will be a major sponsor of Dream Nine Studios
projects with photography and design support, as well as funding. Aurora
PhotoArts photography and design, a Passinault Industries LLC company,
was founded in 1994, and it took that first decade of hard work to get
the company to where it needed to be.
Eventi Events, which was the first Passinault Entertainment Group company
founded on October 6, 1990, did well from 1997 onward. In 2006, the
company became a binary production services company covering events
and stage productions. By late 2008, Eventi Events and Stage Tampa Bay
will become the core Passinault.Com company, as was originally envisioned,
and this profit and production powerhouse will become a major backer
of Dream Nine Studios production projects with production support, film
festivals, marketing events, stage production hybrid productions, and
funding.
Tampa Bay advertising agency Eos MediaArts, which began life in 1993
as production support company Geomedia Productions, is now a fully licensed
advertising agency and a Passinault Industries LLC company. This Passinault..Com
advertising agency will be working heavily with both Aurora PhotoArts
and Eventi Events and Stage for commercial photography, design, and
event marketing work. Eos has been working hard on web sites and marketing
support for all of the Passinault.Com companies since 2004, and will
begin offering services to businesses in the Tampa Bay and Florida markets
in 2008. Eos, also, will be a major supporter and source of funds for
Dream Nine Studios.
Dream Nine Studios changed over the years, too, as it's sister Passinault.Com
service companies grew as they prepared to support the production company.
What began as a simple film production company became a multi-faceted
production company comprised of three different production divisions,
itself a miniature version of the collaborative and cross-supporting
business philosophy of the Passinault.Com companies. The roadmap of
future expansion and business models was laid, and Dream Nine Studios,
much like it's sister companies, was scaled back to conceal many of
it's revolutionary ideas and concepts until the company was in the position
to do them. Dream Nine Studios encompassed Dream Nine Films, Dream Nine
Games, and Dream Nine Music. Dream Nine Films, spinning off smaller
development houses for experimental production work, is slated to begin
work in 2008. Dream Nine Games and Music will come online later. All
three production divisions comprise Dream Nine Studios.
It is truly amazing what has happened to Dream Nine Studios as it has
grown and evolved. The business models for Reverence, which were ahead
of their time in 2003, are now obsolete, although all of the predictions
of the future market which Passinault made at that time have come to
pass. We now have a completely new business model, which will be revealed
only in due time, and our advanced ideas and production technologies
will lead the way in indie film, video games, and music.
It has been a good wait. The wait is almost over. After what Dream Nine
Studios and our support companies accomplish in the near future, the
wait will have been worth it. Welcome to the revolution!
While our current work is classified, and is strictly on a need to know
basis, we can say this much about our indie film projects. Look for
Dream Nine Studios indie films to screen on both on the Tampa Bay Film
online film festival and at the Tampa Film Showcase monthly film festival
event. Both of these support projects were created specifically to assist
us and the professional Tampa indie film community, and they are optimized
for our production support.
